Savouring the snow!

The snow covers all the bumps and loose stones on the avenue. It slides its cloak over the brazen blades of neglected grasses. It smothers the water in the tin buckets and dresses the trees in white wedding gowns. It throws its sheet over the top of the drumlins as a signal for all to fall asleep deeply. Nature’s world has been called into hiding. We have been blindfolded of the tapestry of everyday November colours. We should savour the might and glory of the White Princess but remind ourselves of the magic of the everyday reality that we sometimes fail to see around us. New research has shown that it is good for us to ‘savour’ such moments.
