I love the work that I do. I love de-mystifying psychology and de-stigmatising mental health vulnerability. There is nothing more satisfying than helping people help themselves. It excites me immensely that I can bring the best evidence-based psychology into a theatre setting – mixing it with poetry, stories and humour. I want to uplift and inspire hope within people. We underestimate ourselves sometimes. Simple actions can significantly improve our ability to cope in a complex world. I want my new show called Rise and Renew to be entertaining, engaging and empowering. I can’t wait until it comes to the Hawk’s Well in Sligo – a truly iconic venue in my new home. I am counting the days already!
Most people have heard me in their workplaces but bringing my work into a theatre means it becomes accessible to the whole community. I do not visit theatres very often and I hope that you can join me on Friday 26th January at 8pm. Maybe, you could plan a trip to Sligo and make a weekend of it! Maybe, you know someone who could do with a ‘lift’ or maybe you just want a good night out. Tickets would make a good stocking filler for Christmas! The last two shows in the Hawk’s Well sold-out so get your ticket now via this link
