SEMINARS FOR TEACHERS

The seminars ideally fit into the Croke Park/Haddington Road CPD after- school slot. They have been delivered to hundreds of schools throughout the Republic of Ireland. In recent years many schools from Northern Ireland have availed of them too. Being a former teacher and Year Head, Shane can make his material resonate with all members of the school community, mixing the best evidence-based psychology as he communicates his powerful messages about wellbeing, positive mental health and resilience. His material complements and builds on the new wellbeing initiatives planned for the curriculum. The seminars offer innovative ideas for pastoral care teams as they seek to promote the wellbeing of students. Shane has been engaged by the Professional Development Service for Teachers, the Irish Primary Principals Network and the Centre for School Leadership.
